About MFC Dongle unlock code /LED /Sensor etc

When you can get correct unlock code ?
  • Once unlock process is done, Phone will go to home screen, and MFC Dongle 2 LEDs will be activating in fast blinks mode.

E.g. 0115 is the latest code you read via software. If the sensor did not stopped the process in time then the real code might be before that so you need to try 0114 0113 ... You can also use MFC dongle and setting the start value from 0115 (and click the descending order checkbox) and you will find the code maybe faster than trying yourself.

Light sensor right position on device screen and must be overcurtain

The MFC dongle tries codes one by one. When it detects change in light sensor will memorize the code so if the light sensor is not properly connected 2 cases might happen:
1. it might stop the unlock process before finding the correc code (usually if the external light influences the light sensor).
2. it might not stop the process until the user takes out the sensor or changes the screen. (usually if it's not properly connected - between icons). Usually this happens if the screen brightness is very low (Use V.23 will auto adjustment).

LED blinks/activates when:
  • Blinking per few second when a code is sent to phone (while MFC is connected to phone);
  • Fast blinking when the unlock process is done (while MFC is connected to phone);
  • Stay ON completely when you connect to computer and the CAPS lock key is ON in the computer (while MFC is connected to computer)

About the sensor testing ?

To see if the sensor is working just press sensor checkbox On the MFC Software and watch if the sensor values change. If you put the sensor in dark/black & White place ( for example holding in your hand (Or Phone Lock Screen dark area), the value must be lower or 0 and if you put the sensor direct towards a powerful light (White screen or Emergency screen)the value must be higher 100 to 500. This is how you can test the sensor easily.

Where to put the sensor ?
  • Old sensor detected value is 0 (10k ohm Chip resistor, marked 1001)
  • New sensor detected value is 20 (20k ohm Chip resistor marked 2001) - To work more stable , We recommend All the Users change to this new sensor
