I have the some problem here too - its new flash STMicro or how can we call it...(i am not 100pro shure about flash chip name) so some flash chips are flashed at "normal" speeds but this new one have some "bug" in sw(cruiser) that cause so slow procedure for flashing...i am shure Lead will repair this as soon as possible...
