Killed home button replacing screen

Hi folks, newbie here...

I replaced the screen on my iPhone 6 because of a crack. Everything went swimmingly, except the part where you pull the screen assembly off. The homebutton ribbon was stuck, and even though I thought I was careful--I took my time and used a ****dryer on low to loosen the adhesive--I pulled the homebutton ribbon in two.

What do I need to do now? Buy a new homebutton and ribbon? Is there such a thing as a new screen assembly that contains an attached homebutton ribbon?

The screen works fine, and I have enabled assistive touch for now so my phone is working fine. But I'd like to have a working home button again.

Thanks in advance for any help. I feel like I was really close to getting this right the first time!

Thanks,

pktivey
