It’s not how you describe it .
1- You can use any other nand , you don’t need any nand backup .
2- You should need the BT and WiFi with SN and you can read these witb usb cable ( only need numbers )
If you have a dead phone you can request from gsx servers by using your imei number , or you can pull the information from nand by using nand pro
3 - Transfer serials to new nand and Activate it !
IOS11 is success ..
Beside lots of demand for repair purpose for fixing errors 9 , 14 dead boot etc .
So it’s pretty much useful but maybe not for you if you are not into iPhone repair business .
