Hello,

I've double checked the connections and pinout and all are fine (it's the same cable I've used to unlock numerous X70's in the past). It may just be a coincidense but it seems to be the same problem others are facing:

As I say above it's been a while since I've had any of these models to unlock so it seems a bit strange that I'm now having a problem where there wasn't a problem before. If you can let me know if there's been no update for the X70 software in the last 12 months, then I'll try a clean install. I'm not trying to blame Infinity here, it's without doubt the best box on the market but if there's a bug then hopefully we can work together to get it sorted. Yes I understand the X70 is an old model but the last thing anyone wants to do is say to a customer 'I can't do that model' or ' whoops your phone dont work any more'.

I'll try to unlock this one I have ( ver. A31) and post the result. I'm probably wrong but I personally don't think it's a cable/connection problem as the software seems to be communicating with the phone until the 'write error'.

Thanks anyway.

Regards, WW.
