Hi mix00,
If you read the phone using Nk_Calc, you might find that the Product Code has gone 00000...... or 12345......or some thing to that effect. Basically, the product code is corrupted, and that's why you can't change the imei. In this case, copy a good flash from a working phone using Knok Phoenix from 00200000 to 00600000 and reflash that into the faulty phone, also using Knok Phoenix. You will now have a working phone and then you can try changing the imei to whatever you want. It has happen to me several times and they were all solved using this method. Give it a try.
