I have tried, using Nemesis, (which will read a 6288 if done correctly; see my previous thread) to change the product code to a code that will enable the phone to accept that there is an update from 6.10 to 6.43 available. My 6288 is on 3 and I'm beginning to think that this firmware update is governed, controlled and locked by 3. Any others feel that this is the case? If so, how do we get 3 to enable our 6288 to accept the firmware update? Or does anyone have a product code that will allow the 6288 to accept the update?
