| no, no special way, if they say "insert SIM" then probably its hardware problem, if there was something wrong with flash file or flash proccess, then you will get "wong card" or something like that [the phone will see the card, but will reject it], but when the phone cant see the card at all, i guess its hardware problem.
by the way, did u try more than one SIM?
