I am sorry if this is not the write thread, but I would apprciate all the help I can get. I been reading about changing ESN and altering my cell phone. I bought a phone of Craig'list and the ESN it has cannot be activated.

i read that there are ways to change it and I gotten all the softwares but they all require com ports to communicate and I have Windows Vista which does not have com ports,...

How can I overcome this set back. I am trying to unlock a Verizon VX6800 and is any of you have done it I would love the help.

If anyone can please help me.
