...if you have the USB to COMM cable based on the MA-8720P chip, this working on E-Gold and S-Gold Siemens phone series both with data cable (data transfer with 1228800 Kbits) or with service cable (unlock or flash with 115200 Kbits).
So, you not needed to switch cables in the unlocking process...
