Thanks to OP! Just downloaded zip files to use on a T-Mobile MDA Compact 4 which I understand is basically the same as a Diamond. The instructions are a bit vague for a novice like me. Can Anyone who has used this 3 step procedure please give me a step by step guide. I have read the instructions but am unsure of the following: Do I run the unlock from the computer by clicking on a box or do I run the unlock from the phone?
What do I do with "Diamond -sst. bat" as it is not an executable file?
Is running "DiamondCustomRUU.exe" actually flashing a new radio to the phone and do I need to do anything like copy a new radio file after this step?
Where do I copy "DiamUnlock.exe" onto in my phone?
Can you easily "Unbrick" your phone if you do not follow the procedure correctly?

Does this solution work like the "paid for" ones in that there are 3 steps to unlock the phone?
