ok it the method for chacking the ver name by the help of this i think so that u can easly solve yours prob
Using Hex Workshop open the flash file you want to change > search for V0X.XX as text string (X's = flash version) > you will find 2 or 3 locations, over type with the version i.d. you want > manually find the next address (don't click on the next address in the bottom right window or your flash file will blank) > over type that & so on > finally save flash file. Good wishes.

Just remeber not to leave or add any space with text you have changed over the default one. What I mean is that, count how many characters you have deleted, and that would be the same number of text you'll be allowed to add or change.
The upper part of the found address using HEXEdit is the MCU part(Which is the one that will appear when Typing *#000#) and the lower part is PPM.
