The latest TornadoSIM firmware seems to work with some carriers with the latest 2.2.1 firmware. But data connections are not working at all - it didn't with earlier versions either.

There's no E-symbol even showing up, even if APN are set up.

Your competitors don't have this problems, so it should be possible to fix...
