hi friend wherever using THAVO IC battery not saving problem is typical
better change thavo if you have find any jumper like charging connector to battery connector using diode this way maybe damage your battery battery will be heat bicouse with out regulator pass voltage to battery,
you can change thavo very easy, problem will be solve 100% & safe
