Hi!

Hopefully someone can help me too!
While I know that this is true, I am trying to find out how I can get the appropriate cable for my laptop since serial port is outdated and I don't have any ports available, except usb ports.
I spoke to Nokia and they told me that I can unlock the 5190 if I have the puk code from the provider which in this case is T-Mobile/Voicestream Is this correct or do I still have to go through the cable and software steps?
Any help would be greatly appreciated! I have been going nuts with this. I wrote to T-Mobile but since I ended service with them 4 months ago, they don't want to give me the code.
Apperantly, it is as simple as entering a 10 digit code into the phone to reset it. So why do I have to go through this then?
Suggestions, Ideas and Tips welcome!
