take a fully charged battery put into mobile.
open vpst3.1.1 select setting page in flash colum select cp and boot file of d1600 and tick the colum.untick backup esn and akey colum than ok.now select usb comport which u r using to update phone. press update button in vpst in mobile u now press *+pwr button when software say reset by hand u remove batt from mobile and again insert into mobile again press *+ pwr button now software will start download boot file to phone and after donload boot file again ask for reset phone now u again remove batt. insert it again and press power button now software will start to flash your phone if doesn't work try and try again it is 100% working.and one thing you dont forget never remove battery when boot file is downloaded to phone otherwise you have a dead phone which is not recoverable easily.
