Hello,
During last 5 (five) years we did not asked Infinity-Box users for any additional payments. All updates/support during 5 years (from the Infinity-Box project begin) was free of charge.
There is no any "lifetime counters" etc. inside Infinity-Box software/hardware.
I think other users (who have other boxes) can make more detailed explanation for you so you will be sure that my words is true.
