CPU independent mode will not work if "COM port option" is disabled in phone Engeneering menu.
access it using keyboard codes and check if COM port is enabled, ussually it must be set from OFF or COM2 to COM1 state.
arround 10% of chinese phones have com port disabled from factory,
this is why IMEI can not be changed via Mode-1, can not work CPU independent pinout search and some other operations. |
