Thank you very much for your reply. Juz now I'm downloading those softwares.

Is there some s.w that could download the text msgs in the phone's memory too, to a PC?

The serial cable schematic in the link http://revenge.gol.ge/datacable.html works perfect with my GD 68. I tested it with a s.w from the same site, actually provided for GD 75/76 called GSMTest v 0.22 by Red Diablo .
