A. Below is a guide on how to read the IMEI & MEP from a BlackBerry phone.

For Windows XP / Vista users:

1. Download and install the BlackBerry Desktop Manager (if you haven't already got it) on your PC: download here
2. Download and install Microsoft NET Framework 2.0: download here
3. Download and install Berry Logger: download here
4. Open the program 'Berry Logger'
5. Connect your Blackberry phone (switched on) to your PC with a USB cable
6. Click the 'Get info' button on the 'BB Info reader'
7. Information of your phone (IMEI & MEP) will be read by the program and shown in the window

For Macintosh users:

1. Download and install Blackberry Logger
2. Connect your Blackberry phone (switched on) to your Mac with a USB cable
3. Open the 'Blackberry Logger' application
4. Click on the 'Read handset info' button
5. Information of your phone (IMEI & MEP) will be read by the program and shown in the window
