Hi All,

I have an Iphone 3G with 3.1.2, Modem Firmware 05.11.07, Jailbroken and Unlocked with Blackra1n. I have all SHSH records on Cydia.

My Facebook was crashing for the last week so I restored my phone to the same 3.1.2 Firmware, and then used Blackra1n to unlock and jailbreak.
The Cydia Icon is there and when I ran Cydia the first time it gave this message:

GPG error: http://repo.smxy.org
xena Release: The following signatures were invalid: NODATA 1 NODATA 2
Failed to fetch http://repo.smxy.org/cydia/apt/dists...m/Packages.bz2
Sub Process bzip2 returned an error code (2)
Some Index files failed to download, they have been ignored, or old ones used instead.

And now when I run Cydia it closes after showing "Loading Data" for a minute.
Since Cydia is not working, I cannot access files as Open SSH is not yet installed. Also I cannot install Rizwan's patch for Cracked Application as I cannot install AFC2add, and I cannot use any app from Cydia or any cracked app.

I have tried the same restore to 3.1.2 + Blackrain 3 times, the Phone gets unlocked but each time the Cydia has the same problem. After restore Facebook still closes after a few seconds.

What would be the best Solutions. I am thinking of the following

1. Restoring to 3.1.2 again and Jailbreaking with Redsnow, I suppose the cracked Applications can be installed then.

2. I Upgrade the Iphone 3G to 4.0.1. If I plan to do this, what would be the best way to go about this.

I ideally would like to make cydia run on 3.1.2 itself, as it would get slow with 4.0.1

Any help and advice will be really appreciated.
