Brother if the set is not unlocked and you are inserting in the handset a sim of any other opperator or may be new TATA sim card it will show as invalid SIM......
Simply unlock your handset by inserting a old TATA SIM CARD and try the new sim card....it wont show as Invalid SIM anymore....
