you can skip rooting for phones unlock over qc mode.
rooting for unlocking is useless all this phones.
basic info for all.
I727,I727M,T989,T989D,T999,I747,I747M,T769 many other etc unlock in qualcomm mode.
if modem is set on uart use uart cable for unlocking & repairing.
if modem is set to usb use usb cable for unlocking & repairing.
use this two codes to set need port setting.

*#9090#
some phone like I747M have switching blocked(can't select),so people can use (*2767*3855#) to full reset phone then you can set it.
