Most probably your java was updated to the latest version which is not supported by gecko since it doen'st get an update for sometime now from the author..
You can solve this by downgrading your java to some older version like 6 or older version of 7..
Up to java version version 7 update 4 is supported according to my test higher than that and you'll probably get the error..
