GD55 voicemail..HELP!!

How do i setup my GD55 so that it tells me i have a voicemail??? my friend left me a voicemail and there was never an icon that says i have one. i'm in the U.S. and the phone is imported from Taiwan so the user manual is in Chinese and i can't read them!! HELP!!

You have to set it up at your network provider. Call your mailbox and search for an option about the notice of incoming calls. Thats the way we handle this with the german networks!
