epprom programmer

I'm a newbie of mobile repair , recently my boss call me to unlock the nec db2000 ... i saw many old posts, know it can unlock by epprom.

i think it use the epprom programmer to read & write the epprom.

i find some epprom program, but i can't read it yet ..
my question is ... is the program read the file from phone via com port cable(MBus?) , or need other hardware to read the epprom?

if need other hardware , i will buy it ..

for reading eeprom with a programmer u need a special hardware device and remove eeprom from the phone and program it externally on the programmer...
