i would like to know what are the secret codes in nokia 2280..even *#06# doesn't seem to work for me..could it be the service provider has hidden it??

hi i have some important information about nokia 2280
it can be reprogrammed by some codes but it is no gurantee that those codes
will not damage your phoone i myself is working on those codes and will tell the respected members about them later
well i have got one important code that will restore the factory setting on your phone
"*#7780# Will restore factory settings" but i do not have any spc for rd2030 cdma proveied by reliance plaz if any one can help me in this regared

Friends, I have worked out on 2280. Even made a call after activating on the other service provider.....but f***ed up after switching it off. Now it is not registering to any network. I am still working on it for last 2 days......
Pray .....i might come up with a solution soon

hi any one can plz help me with the software to reset the spc of nokia 2280 i have a softaware for resetting codes on nokia 8xxx and 6xxx series but nokia 2280 is still out of my reach

whats ur solution for read spc change PRL or what maybe u just can do this with phoenix and correct pkd thats all or something else

you need to flash phone with a RUIM firmware..
NAM Set: *3001#SECURITY CODE#
Default: *3001#12345#
Codes:
*#24# To view your current channel.
*#639# Will allow you to manually program your phone with the MIN and SID. Also to change Phone Number.
*#734# View Current SID Code.
*#837# Lets you check your PRL and Software Version.

changeable items (like SPC). For me, this code unlocks Nokia 2280 phones when security code is forgotten. Enter it then restart phone and it will be unlocked- didn't reset for me! **Use at own risk**

These codes do not work on Nokia 2280:

Defaults:
Lock Code: 0000
Security Code: 12345
Service Programming Code (SPC): "******" or "******"
(Note: Telecom change it from 000000 to ******)
To get this code from me, send an email because I don't want hundreds of people knowing this code.
If your phone is stuck on a foreign language, Press MENU, then press 4 (Settings), then press 2 (Phoen Settings) and last of all, press 1 (Language) and select English.

hey everyone
I've had a nokia 2280 phone for many years and have had people stealing it or writing irritating, or abusive messages to other people "on my behalf"
It is also good as a practical joke as well on april fools :D
Well, i've finally found a solution.
I found that the code ##66767# on the main screen. It brings up a menu that says Msg. Sending with two options in the menu.
The options are: MO-SMS on
MO-SMS off
The on allows messages to be sent from the phone like normal when this code is not activated.
The off disables messages being able to be sent from the phone by taking away the "create text" and the "outbox" option on the text message menu and the "reply" and "forward" option on texts in the inbox.
NOTE: DO NOT TRY THIS ON OTHER NOKIA PHONES AS THE MENU DOES NOT COME UP AND IT DISABLES THE OUTBOX,CREATE TEXT,REPLY AND FORWARD OPTIONS.THIS CANNOT BE REVERSED..I HAVE MADE THIS MISTAKE ON 3 NOKIA PHONES ALREADY..
Hope it might help people in the same situation as i was once in, or just for a joke :)
