Hi all, this is my first time posting - having surfed the posts to see if anyone had a similar problem to mine.
Anyway I purchased a T100 last year for my wife and up until recently we have had no problems with it. However for the past few weeks it has been showing a permanent "limited service" message on the screen meaning she cant receive or make calls. She took it to a service centre where she was informed that the problem was because the phone came from Singapore (even though we bought it in Malaysia brand new!) and she is using it in Malaysia, the service provider she has (TMNET) was not available to her - despite it being functional for a year before this! (I checked the available networks and only two are available and there are a total of 5 networks in Malaysia). Is there any way to make the phone accept the TMNET service provider? As I said the phone came brand new and came with all the relevant extras such as data cable etc.

it is hardware problem.... take it to a qualified person, if company is not providing service then take them to consumer court...

probably PA or Antenna Switch is faulty..

Limited service 99% of the time means the phone has been barred, to check this quickly change the imei and see what the phone says, if still limited service then yes you have a hardware problem.

That phone is definately Black listed by the network. Phone the cell company where u are and fax them your purchase slip and they must take the black list of. the only exception is if somebody report it stolen, then u must find out who have done it and go from there.
