I have MOTOROLA A920 3G.
I got its UNLOCK code via IMEI from MOTOROLA SERVER..
But I don't know how to enter unlock code on IT.
anyone please help me to slove out this problem.

when I power on the PHONE
phone display "Contact Customer Service"
I also wait for 45minutes.. but phone still don't ask me to enter SUBSIDY CODE>.

put any other network simcard for eg voda leave it on for more than 45 min say atleast 12 hour SUBSIDY CODE will be displayed on the screen , then you can enter the code

I tried everything..
Please anyone post here solution to put SUBSIDY code to the phone.. so I can unlock it.

mate subsidity always more than 55-60 minutes...wait be patient..
mean "call customer service"...new model but do not belive something new about that...

NO.. NO.. NO..
I put the sim and wait for 45minutes.. and 24hours.. but phone don't ask me to enter SUBSIDY CODE..
If anyone know the solution than please post here.

I am entering INTERNATIONAL sim card on it..

On the A920 you will need to type **057* into the handset before it asks you for the code.
Hi.
I too have a 3G A920, cannot get the thing to ask for a subsidy code. Placing the "wrong SIM" yields the response "invalid usim contact customer services emergency calls only". I have tried leaving it on, I have tried **057*, upon which it asks for the "personalisation code".
I have tried all three codes at this point but simply get the response "wrong password" then the phone reboots.
I have checked the IMEI is right with the server that calc'ed the unlock code, it all checks out.
Can anyone give me any pointers?

I too had this problem 2 days ago.
The key is that the phone should not be "disturbed" while in this rest period.I had to wait about 30 hours.
There is nothing like "Enter subsidy code". You just get a blank screen with a flashing cursor, input the code and phone is free.
Do not touch the keys while phone in "rest period".
patience is the key.

This worked for me first time try this
How to Enter Codes:
1- Switch on your phone with a SIM Card from another Operator / Network (for example
if your phone accept only T-Mobile, you should use a sim card from Vodafone, O2 or Orange..etc).
2 goto the phone dialing pad.
3- for A920 please enter **057*0 then you will be asked for unlock code
4- Please enter provided code
5- your phone should be unlocked now!

The algorythm is held by Motorola only, only people with Server access can get unlock codes, not free I'm afraid.

If your phone locked for 3network,you must use only 3card.
