View Full Version : Problem using SWUP with S25
I try to flash S25 v42 with v4402 to change the lang pack. But the phone did not communicate at all. Other programs connect with the phone. The mobile and the cable are OK. I tried with SWUP194 and SWUP147. Can somebody help me.
What's happen? Do you receive an error message?

I have serious difficulties similar to this one with a C25 v 10.
Some programmes(s/c25 Explorer, swup flasher) doesn't recognize the ignition from the phone(I haven't tried auto-ignition cabe yet). When I start the swup.exe with nocheck, it can connect to the phone and recognize that phone is on the cable, but it cannot connect with Bootstrap Loader, so flash update fails (
What can be the solution?

Hi guys!
AFAIK the problem is the swup you're using.
I had something similar a little before. As you, maybe, know, there are different bootstrap loaders (Gold, EGold, HiGold, etc.).
So, I was unable to flash old C25 v12 or less with new swup. The same about WinSwup. Used old version of dos swup under plain dos (or command prompt from windows startup screen) and after about half a minute of 'NO' button pressing the process started always!
I noticed that it is much harder to 'catch the moment' and start the flash process as with new phones: you should press 'no' for longer period and many times to be successful.
Hope this will help.

chris_ua is right, you must try another lower swup, i tried it long time ago with swup under 1.80 for s25 and it worked as well.
Somethimes I must press On/Off button more then once to running flash process.
A lot of swups are
