View Full Version : GPRS Problem
I just got a brand new GX10 unlocked to any network. I have a vodafone simcard in it and I cant access vodafone live or get a gprs connection for that matter. It says GPRS not available start CSD connection?. I can get a CSD connection but thats to slow and cost 10p a minute. My friend has the same phone he can get the vodafone live menu up but when he clicks on a link he gets same message as me. I cant even get the menu up. Ive checked my settings and took it to a vodafone shop they said its ok and gave me a sheet with the settings on. Can anybody verify all there settings for me please, or recommend a solution.
Thanks.
BTW: Im from the UK.

well, these phones are for the Vodafone network. why do you mention that it is unlocked? It doesn't matter if you're on Vodafone anyway. But... if your on another network then you cannot use Vodafone's GPRS settings you need to use this feature.
BTW: Virgin has no GPRS yet!

Have you got the little "G" sign next to network coverage?
If not, it would properly because your simcard has not been enabled for GPRS. Then go to any Vodafone store and they will give a new simcard to you.
