View Full Version : Help with GX-10 software & Driver

Hi guys,

I just got myself a used GX10 and love this phone. Problem now is I do not have the software and drivers supplied with this phone.

Anyone who has a copy, would you be kind enough to send it to me via sonork,FTP or whatever??

what do you want to do with it? Is your from Vodaphone? If it is you cannot download tunes with a cable and the IR sensor is somehow locked and won't work.

Yes, My phone is from Vodafone. I tried to connect via IR but don't seem to get any respond. I suspect it might just be the driver that is missing..... I think??? Also, what do you mean when you refer to the term locked? If it is SIM locked, then I have already unlocked it.

and yes also, my intention for this software and driver is for Ringtone, picture etc. upload/download.

Keep em' coming!! Still need the software and driver for it.

I can help you with the programs and drivers but you won't be able to upload tunes with it. as I said, this sw seams to have sharp's/vodafone's hand behind it, meaning that they want to make money out of the uploads. If you want onther tunes on it you have to go online using WAP to get free ringtones. The tunes are free but not the WAP or GPRS.
Nevertheless you can upload pics and manage sms with the program. About the irda it doesn't work because ones again vodafone doesn't want it to work.
I have these drivers as well and the laptop can comunicate with it but nothing about loading stuff through it.

as Carlos said, the IR is just for connecting to PC as a modem. It is not allowed to comunicate with other divice.
