siemens s45 (s45i) communications problem

Hi all friends!
I have a problem with my siemens s45 updated to s45i. The problem is when I connect the data cable to the phone and begin the communication the phone loose the signal and start searching the network, when i disconnect the cable the phone working fine. The IrDA connection works fine. Wath I must do to work the data cable
Ps: data cable is a home made with ignition pin the phone has the same problem with or without this pin and with all version fo software (s45 & s45i)

Did you try with an original Siemens Cable?
The problem persists?
I have updated my s45 to s45i and everithing´s ok.

no! I use home made cable with max 232 and max 3232, the problem it is the same :(
