View Full Version : "Rebuild SP area using OTP IMEI" caused 4 locks closed on T616
Please help!
I used both DIV 8.2 or DIV 8.4, f/w version is R1A054.:eek:
try "Read All Codes" or "Reset GDFS"
"Read all codes" in fact reads all codes.
However since all four locks are closed with "0" attempts the phone won't take any codes.
"Reset GDFS" does not change anything.:confused:
Would it be safe to assume that DIV8.4 is not working properly with T616 and maybe, T610?
yes, it is same with me, i tried to unlock two AT&T t616, can read all codes, but when i enter any code, the phone said "Not Allow".
Anyone can help? Please............................
have tried on t610 R1L work 100%...are you sure nobody DONE phones before you...Maybe soft problems???
I know, i have no problem with t610, just t616.

I also have a 4 locks closed T616 with that function checked.
Have you guys found got yours locks open yet?

maybe (let's correct me) T616 does not allow old format security zone to be present...
From my experience.
For firmwares R1L and lower, you can use "Read all codes"
For Firmwares R1S and above, you have to use "Rebuilt SP Area Using OTP"

in fact, where you CAN read codes it means it is OLD security format (div 8.x cannot decode new security zone format keyboard codes, in fact nor can div usb, but it at least inserts a precalced seczone).
from this, the problem can be that DIV 8.x, as it does not have SW version information about the particular piece, creates not the correct format seczone on rebuild.
buy div usb ;)
but if I'm right you should try to flash the phone with T610 R1L013 then apply the T616 to T610 no volume patch described in 2-3 topics below by MeRWiN...
in the case, it must either rebuild or handle the given security zone...
after you might need a reset gdfs again.

no, firmware R1L is the first of new security zone format.
Do not use Rebuild Sp area any more.
Type original imei at the back of the phone or new one if you like and click change imei.
Reset gdfs.
user the T616=>T610 conversion : Flash Avr and ARM (same version;R1L013 preferable ).
And flsh audio repaire file.

I played with my T616 and I have a solution for your 4 locks closed only if you made the Back Up GDFS:
In DIV8.4:
1. Choose T616
2. Write GDFS with "your T616 Back Up GDFS"
