I have ME45 - it shuts down immediately (no "logout") when transmiting. This does not happen every time when transmiting, but very often. For sure, this depends on a voltage. I tried to use new battery, but no succes - with new battery this happens less but still it happens. When connected to charger then it never happens. I do not think its due to bad sensor values, this should not lead to immediate switch off.

I looked trough whole PCB, but did not find any damage so common for x35 PA.

As the last solution I see to heat whole PCB in some oven. But I am not sure with temperature (probably 250C) and time.. Can anybody help?

Thanx

It does not seem to me like PA problem. Phone is not loosing network and has no other signal related problems.

I think there is too many possibilities - most probable is something related to power supply or voltage regulation.
(VBATT capacitor, power IC...?). Changeing more ICs is too expensive solution for this kind of phone and I do not think its easy to get powerIC - it's some siemens ASIC.

Thefore as last possible thing, I'd like to heat whole pcb to avoid bad contacts if any. Then I am giving up...

Change PA!
If not OK - see battery.

The strange behaviour was caused by the fact that only 900MHz part of PA was damaged. Therefore phone shuts down only when transimiting in 900MHz network.
