Have any one this solution. I know that in new models there is
OTP chip, but I hear that it possible to chenge IMEI.
I want know how?
remove one ball from flash chip and voila imei is changed!!!

Write down by the pen on the label, under the battery, new IMEI and viola - IMEI is changed!
In new Siemens there are OTP imei, like in DCT4 Nokia. There are no ways so far to change iMEI by software only. You need to change flash chip.

you are absolutely right. However how is it that on many sonyericssons includingthe T68i and P800 this can be done? They also use OTP.

Yes, i know this also. You can patch phone's MCU and disable OTP imei checking....but! SO far it is the same as impossible for us for free...I even dont know how much can it costs. I would pay gladly right away 1000 USD for this solution for all new Siemens. Maybe even more - depends on who is selling...;)

the only thing we could do with "soft" changes is changing the
IMEI displayed but not the "hardware" IMEI because this is only
OTP and without changing hardware this is not possible to
change.

nope, you should NOT change any hardware, if you patching MCU and disabling OTP imei checking....That is the whole idea of this!

he didnt' say it is possible now...
I've written an example for S55 v20. As I sad before this will not
change the real IMEI, just the thing provider see's and mobile
shows. It's very easy to find this routines for any phone. If you
like to have this, have a look at the byte patterns in S55 and
search them in other mobile. I'm not going to do this useless
thing for more mobiles ;)

oook....and if original imei and imei are not the same - phone will be dead! You said you can chage IMEI displayed, IMEI mobiles shows... Now I see what you mean

Where in flash stored OTP area? Ram chip or Flash chip? If phone have two flash chip? What point answered for IMEI?

well. so when i make the changes in the hardware of the A50 to change it in C45 (remove resist., change cap.) the OTP IMEI check is disabled. I can change the flash IMEI and the phone stills power on and appears the new IMEI that i writte (*#06#). So, how kind of hardware change may i do to make the same in C55?

empty boards...network baring for unlocked phones...and phone distroied during service...so change imei and give to customer another one...

A50 to C45
I understand about flashing, but why it need to be flashed, if modification hardware is maked just change eeprom imei ?
I have another Q..If i change flash chip for a new one, OTP is clear, how to write new IMEI? Can freia do that? I thing no....is too easy.
On a A50 i changed IMEI by changing flash chip from another A50, that was already death. Very easy.

To change imei in a50 you must make c45 from it and resold 2 resistors.

As far as I know In CPU there is one ball without it PROBABLY you can change IMEI

Yes but i live in canada, so my cousin told me tha he know or heard of a man that sells the imei changer without extra hardware or dongles, only the cable, so i ask you, is this true??? cause he's thinking on buyingit and send it to me...

The programms for imei change have protections, if you friend buy it, only can be used in his PC, if you try it in your PC it will dont work

I am experimenting with A50, Do i have to change the firmware first? or i have to remove the resistors first?..or it doen´t matter?..maybe it sounds simple for all of you, but i try to be very careful..

To change IMEI on A50 is not very difficult!
You have to convert it to C45 first and then you can change IMEI!
