I have got today from one of my friends an acer t191 showing "illegal software uploaded" on the screen
I tried using ufs2 box to repair.
after connecting the version of software is 8610
the imei is ffffffffffffffff
I tried to repair and sellected the same version Mh118610_mcu_U.bin and flashed the phone , still the same result.
I tried to change imei and got the message "imei change failed".
any idia or complete guide for using this box with acer mobile phones?

u have 2 FLEX the phone.....
i fixed atleast 6-7 phones with "Illegal Software Loaded", both T190 and T191... all phones OK...
flash it with same version and write Flex....
thats all....

bad luck i think....right now i got 2 phones T190 and T191.....
these are the ones who don't like 2 be repaired..:-(
they are behaving like your phone -=Mr.Fl@sher=- ...
exactly same...
they now are showing insert SIM but there is continuous beep(Tamper Alert)....

First you have to define what kind of phone it is, Asian or European version. To do that you have to try to flash with Asian or european files until this message will dessapear.
After that to put in a Asian phone, euro language inside, you have to choose files as described in your TXT file. File from A to E
or E to A. Depends what phone you have. Try this and let me know.
in my opinion ufs2 is one of the great tools to be used with motorolla acer phones
I solved one t191 illegal software by flashing it "upgrading its version" its my first time to solve this problem (for me I mean) and i did it after purshasing ufs2.
in the past I tried all the hints talked about in this forum (pass.mot & pass.bin and other hints) and in the end I got dead phones so the only way after that to revive those dead phones was makona solution.
but now it is easy to upgrade and downgrade t191 easily by using ufs2 .
by the way u can solve beeping problem after solving illegal software by using Xak.
Xak can be used with t191 having soft version 178 and lower safely
also can change imei to original one safely "tested many times".
u have to use t191 cable with external power supply (the one u use while flexing phone)

why u serach for motorola support here
if u really search in Motorola (Acer) section u will find the solution .
i have the same problem and solved it using dmtools 3.15
