Motorola IMEI->Subsidy code. HOW?

Hello,
I'm not asking to give me the software or tell the secrets, but just want to know HOW. Shall I waste my time and look for the soft or this is possible only for "corporate" specialists?
If so - can anybody unlock mine the only T280 so that I do not bother anymore? I just want to change provider.

hey, You need to buy unlock codes to be able to unlock that phone to all providers.

I know - there are many guys on the net who sells codes, but is it safe to buy from them? They want credit card No. Did anybody have negative experience with them - something like no code, but money taken, or code does not work, but money taken etc.
Please tell your case.
Still, how the codes are generated? Is there any algorythm or you must get them from Motorola Inc directly?
