YES, it is possible


however it requires considerable investments !!

so, it is viable only for someone who has large quantities of these phones to repair.

do not believe anyone who says he can write esn of nokia 2280/3585/3586/3105 models... you need to read and modify flash ,,, write checksum at right address ... or else handset will give"contact service" .. i tried to develope circuit for the interface ( mbus and fbus ) which fits below the battery .. but .. none of the software could read the phone... no one has memory address map of nokia cdma ...so ignore all bogus posts..

2280 is the DCT4 phone so the esn change method will be no difference as other DCT4 IMEI change! ASK=>RPL

Hi pls check that the ESN rebuilding is totall difference as flashing, even the griffin can flash 2280 too as the main hw is same as gsm phones(UPP,UEM,Flash) the only problem is CDMA phones need more procedures to complete the flashing like upload phone settings,product codes etc except that your phone will not power on normaly. GSM DCT$ flasher just complete the first step of flashing! so now use fls4 or fps8 with phoenix will be more safety.

universal box cna do it for the rf no work same to 3320 and other dtc4 if you return the esn original or flash the phone the phone are ok but the serie are same original
