has anyone managed to unlock this model spv and if yes what did you use please.
this is the original SPV not the SPV e100/200

ufortunatly that is the software i have been trying, as i said this seems to work fine on the SPV e100 but not on the SPV or the SPV e200 im afraid.
Works fine.
Use under XP.

What seems to be the problem? as you might have to downgrade to unlock if you have bootloader higher than 0.93 I think?
its v0.98 thats the cut off,
over 0.98 is when it needs dowloading.

And what version of bootloader do you have? as I did a downgrade and unlocked one last week.
sorry forgot to say, it was v0.98 so by all that i have read on the forums my spv should have worked with this software. the customer has taken it back now though so i cannot pursue this any further at the moment.

OK, but what problems was you getting and was you using the cradle or the hot-sync cable/charger? as I did that one with the hot-sync cable/charger.
i used the usb cradle that came with the phone, the problem was the code reader sat at 0% and never connected with the phone, the phone would connect to the pc via sync software if in normal state but once i entered the phone into bootloader mode there was no communication. yes i killed the exe with crl alt+dlt.

OK, very strange what I do is boot the phone in to the bootloader screen, open active sync and go to file>connection settings and un tick the allow USB, put the phone in the cradle and then run the program, shame not got the cable with me here to try it out again, you have any info on unlocking the E200?

my phone is already unlocked but no service my network is 900mhz does this phone working under 900 ???????
