There is I got it from this same forum, check a posting by Mateuz, wherein he downloaded and installed the software on his 6310i. If you do a google search and type "setnokiavibralelel", it will give you the webssite. I believe the website is www.mwiacek.com

Griffin or Phoenix is not a few dollars investment my friend, this can cost more than your phone...

Look here:
http://www.griffinbox.com/
or look on sales section...

I just changed my 6310i vibra level using the freeware program Gammu:
gammu --nokiasetvibralevel 100

See http://www.mwiacek.com/gsm/gammu/gammu.html and look in the "Links" section for download locations.

I have downloaded the program GAMMU to WinZip, but the program has 320 files, which is the file for adjustating the vibration level. I'm new at this, if you can email me the instructions as to how you did it, I will greatly appreciate it. My email is ErixsonDuran@peoplepc.com, Thanks.

Erixson, you must have downloaded the source code! Make sure you download the win32 binaries at http://www.mwiacek.com/zips/gsm/gammu/gammu_win32.zip and you will have the program gammu.exe

I used infrared to talk to my 6310i. This required changing a single line in the gammurc file under the [gammu] section):
connection = irda

Activate infrared on your phone and check that Gammu can communicate with it:
gammu --identify

Then you can set your vibrate level to max using:
gammu --nokiasetvibralevel 100

The phone will vibrate for a few seconds so you can feel what it is like! Mine started wandering around the table on max setting!

Thanks, I've downloaded, and I see 12 files totalling 968KB, one of the files is called GAMMU.EXE, I guess this is the one I have to load into my phone, I don't have an infrared adapter for my computer, I'll have to wait until I buy the cable to connect to my Nokia 6310i. Thank you very much for your help, once I buy the cable, I'll let you know how it turned out. Again, Thank you very mucho.

Whoops, no you don't download the program gammu.exe to your phone. You just run it on your PC (from a MS-DOS or Command Prompt window). The program sends control codes to your phone to set the vibration level.

You ought to consider buying an infrared (or bluetooth) adapter for your computer. Much easier than using cables. I ended up making an infrared adapter for my PC from a kit (around $20 Australian).

Thanks for the clarification, It's 1:20AM here in Maryland, so I going to sleep now. I'll let you know once I buy the adapters how it went. Later.
