View Full Version : 7F20:6F46 Does SIM-EMU/Cardinal/SIM CLONER can edit the Service Provider NAME Field?
Is the new version of SIM-EMU let you edit this 7F20:6F46 file on the SIM Card? I can see the Service Provider name with the trial version of Cardinal but it doesn't let me change it.
Will the SIM CLONER work like this: Copy My current SIM CARD and Copy the whole thing to a Blank SIMCARD without 7F20:6F46?? or SIM CLONER let you edit it??
Really need help with this.... any expert here??
Thanz in advance

Hi,
The XSIm 0.05 can edit this file on the Card. This version are avaible in a few days. Teory the 0.04 can edit this file, but have a bug. :(
You can create a file in the SIM you also only can change the record data.

Sir Graham.

you can edit with SIM Manager Pro & SIM Sufr Profi and Chipdrive
With SIM-EMU you can edit this file with the phone itself.
SIM-EMU uses this file to show the description of each position selected.

Hi,
SIMEMU is a emulator of GSM 11.11.
XSim, SIM Manager Pro & SIM Surf Profi is a software to make operation with the SIM. You need a Phoenix reader or PC/SC reader.
You can edit this file with this software.
You can download XSim (0.04) from:
http://www.endorasoft.es/download/xsim.zip.
This weekend will be avaible the 0.05 version.

Sir Graham.

wlj101,
I believe SIM cards are iso 7816 (compatible) therefor if the reader/write is an iso programmer then it shouldn't be any problem....
Secondly can anyone help me and let me know the area of the SIM card as for what areas are what... like a breakdown of the eeprom/rom/register area of the sim... and if there is an embeded system in the cards?
Thanx
Vinny P
I hope Sim Emu has time to reply me... I really want to get it done today (my birthday).
I want to know that is Sim Emu a software or a real hardware, I don't mind If I buy one from him here.

SIM-EMU is an emulator program of GSM SimCards that runs in SmartCards with MicroChip processor 16F877 called GreenCard2, GreenCard and SilverCard.
The difference between them is the size of the external EEPROM (GreenCard2 has 256Kbit, GreenCard has 128KBit and Silvercard has 64KBit).
The principal feature of SIM-EMU is that allows you to emulate until 10 GSM original SimCards in one card.
Read my page in english located at www.simemu.cjb.net to know the full description of this software.
