OT331 Cable problem [Archive]

I have Alcatel BG3 Unlocker by s2gsm and a cable for an Alcatel OT525 which wich fits in the OT331.
I cant get the program to connect to my OT331 ...
Do I need to connect with the phone turned on? Or do I need to put some power on the cable? (which I tried with no result).
Help me out :)

I'm not sure, I don't have one..
Also no 525 otherwise I would have tested that ..

I just tried All-Katel and it reckonises the thompson 4mb flash and than the prog hangs.
This is with 9V on cable.

Alcatel BG3 Unlocker by s2gsm on china cable setting and 9V on cable seems to work for a seconds then it gives #2 cant connect.. On special is doesnt connect at all and gives #1 cant connect :(

Do all these problems point to a broken cable? I wouldnt know what is left to be the problem..

hi!
For OT331 and 332 Alkatel You need use cabel with two zenner diode (3 volts or nearest), like Acer T19x flex cabel or cabel for new philips.
