When do you think the E-200 tool is ready, can you when? Can you give us a date? :D
Are you making the tool?
I have heard that the code is 32bit encrypted in the E-200 where it was plaintext in the old spv's.

Hi Tina,
look under battery of phone at label underneath.
It should say either canary or tanager.
If it says one of these then yes it canbe unlocked with the free software. Ifit is spv e200 or it says voyager under battery then you need new unlocker, which unfortunately is not free (yet!).

Under battery is only "bluetooth" or "PH10A",nothing else.But thank you nevertheless!

Both the xda/xda2 software is free if you do a seach on the web, but you may need to downgrade the phone, look on the xda-forum for more info.
This is true. However downgrading the xda can cause problems. Firstly you lose all data on the phone, secondly you ned to downgrade the software in the handset, not ideal if you want to have latest improvements made by the updates!
Downgrading the phone is ok if you have lots of time, but not great if TIME IS MONEY and you run busy shop etc!
My software unlocks in 2 minutes without need to downgrade!

(I ask as I have never done a xda/2) as for the software at £350 I can buy a new simfree e200/qtek etc etc and what about updates as like the old SPVs when you did a update to 1.61 the old unlocker did not work and as we know a new update for the e200 is out soon (yer knowing orange that will be June/July) will the software work on phone which have had the update installed?
Also why is no one offering a service so that you can send your phone to them to get unlocked and then returned in the post, think that would be a good idea as that is one thing I would go for.
It may seem like I'm having a dig here but just asking questions that I think needed to be asked.

Its no problem to answer questions.
Of course price for software is not ideal for person wishing to unlock ONE phone. Its for retail business. For busy shop to be upgrading/downgrading is taking too much time and involve:-
backup users data prior to downgrade
Downgrade sw
unlock
upgrade sw
restore users data
All this take time. For business you must always think about paying your employee and time he/she spend doing tasks must be minimized by efficient and reliable software, so that employee completes more tasks per hour.

He he tell me about, spent many a hour unlocking and repairing phones and found I was just not making the money so stopped, but you still did not say if the software will work on phones which have had updates installed or will the buyer get a free update, anyway if you want to earn yourself say £30 for unlocking my e200 then I'm more than happy to post it off to you to do for me, mail me or PM me if you like.

Of course all intelligent people like yourself realise its impossible to guarantee such a thing, but yes at present supports all versions and new versions providing hardware isnt changed.

I have one SPV to unlock but when i run the Sw it says
Cannot access phone.Verify that Wcescomm is terminated and phone is in test mode.
I have the original Usb cable
Do i need to install the usb driver first?
I need help

You need original spv disk which come with phone and install the software on disk.
Then you terminate wcescomm using [CTRL] + [ALT] + [DEL]
Now to put phone in test mode, turn phone off then press power on button and record button at same time. You should see test mode screen, now run unlock software and you should get your code.
I cant get the disk and i neeed the files for the usb drivers , is there any link for download please

i HAVE SPV CANARY TO UNLOCK BUT I HAVE SERIAL CABLE WHICH CAME WITH UNIVERSAL BOX 8.0 USB AND COM INTERFACE....XDA IS WRITTEN ON IT..PLEASE TELL ME HOW TO UNLOCK USING THAT CABLE...????
