Nokia 6600 LCD not working properly, no camera function !

Hi, have a nokia 6600, currently when switched on and the camera is selected it says "hardware failure"

I believe this is due to slight liquid damage to the phone, this has also stopped the LCD from lighting up. The LCD works fine, not missing bits or anything, just no backlight.

The question i am asking is, can this be repaired, or would i need another screen and camera ??

The mainboard of the phone has been gone over with on the worst parts with a fibre glass pencil to eliminate any short circuit.

Should i put this in the ultrasonic tank to clean it properly ??

Any help would most appreciated

have you restartrd your phone allready?
or make a hard reset... the code is *#7370#... but attantion: all files will be killed!!!
