re pin out sendo m550 + unlocking

I've been told the 220 230 cable will unlock the m550, but I dunno if the cable or the phone needs modifying.

I've check various posts on the forum that mention pin out from what i can gather it seems easy done, but what exactly has to be done to these pins in order to unlock the phone?.
Please forgive my arrogance on the subject, any help would be greatly appreciated.

at least solder 3 wires(rx,tx,gnd), easy!

So solder three wires connecting all rx tx and gnd pins together as shown in link, and a standard 220 230 cable with sls by anjelgsm should unlock it.
