How to know if my card is COMP V2

while i was trying to get ki using simscan 2.01 and XP the first counter has finished...


any help!
if i untick A38 limit is there a great risk to ruin the card?
when to use strong ki!
i think simscan uses strong ki automaticaly

i just got message: finding ki in last 4 kbytes is almost impossible using brute force
is that mean that my card is comp V2?

I don´t know if I am an expert, But I Try to answer you dude...

Your card (I afraid) is V2. Why?

Well, the SIMSCAN try to search the last pars of Ki with brute force.

This is method is more secure that collisions, but you can use this method (brute force) with more that 2 pars (4 bytes), because more of 2 pars are too much combinations to search (more, more time).

If you card is v2, the SIMScan don´t search any par, and when It try to search the last par by brute force, there is too much pars to search (all of them). For this razon, It show this message.

This Question, however, It´s for Dejan. He is the author of the software and he knows this theme.

In my software XSim, I put a control in the first par. If The XSim don´t search the first part shows a message that this card is a v2.....
