IMPORTANT:
This installation requires the uninstallation of the previous one, so it is necessary to make a backup of the SIM_EMU_CFG.ini file before the uninstallation of 1.0 version because this process delete it, loosing all the infromation stored by previous configurations. Once installed the new version 2.1, restore this backup.

. Optional encryptation of the Ki's stored in the SIM_EMU_CFG.ini file.

. Possibility to run the Ki's extraction programs (SimScan, XSim and Cardinal), and to read the obtained information for these programs (only SimScan 2.1 and XSim because the Cardinal do not store it into disk).

. The ADN's and FDN's files format has been changed to make possible to edit them using any text editor.

. Some problems was solved in the SATK of the some original SIM cards.

. The uninstallation process now do not delete the information contained in the SIM_EMU_CFG.ini file.

. New notice messages in configurations not saved, and configuration read and written.

. More information stored in the SIM_EMU_CFG.ini file, this includes the name of the last Flash and EEPROM files configured, the last directory used for the ADN's/FDN's/SMS's, paths to the extraction programs and the name of the data file used by these programs.

. A problem was solved during the deactivation of FDN service.

. Support of phone number of more than 20 digits during save and restore of ADN's information.

There is no version of SIM-EMU for Funcard yet.

You can only modify the allowed data, p.e. ADN (Phonebook), SMS, FDN (Fixed Dialling Numbers, LDN (Last dialed Numbers), etc, but you can never modify protected data with administrative PIN's or Ki.

Hi Simemu.
I've a small problem. Can you tell me what i've to do please?

1) I've setting hex files (6.01 for flash and 6.00 for eeprom) using your new full configurator (i've followed instructions in your software and on your web site).
2) I've written using IC-Prog the flash and the eeprom of my silvercard (i selected the hex files configured with your confidurator). In Ic-Prog, as i have a silver card, when i've programmed the eeprom i selected chip 24C64.
The programming worked fine!
3) I put card with sim emu 6.01 in my phone and a message is shown: "Insert sim card" after that "Sim card refused".
4) I put silver card in the programmer, i run your programmer and at the top i read this sentence: "Sim emu 6.01"... so i think that there is sim emu 6 in silver card but after that an info-message is shown: "wrong sim emu version for this card". If i click on eeprom (always in your configurator) i read "eeprom-128".
Why was written eeprom at 128 if i have selected 24C64 to write the eeprom?
Perhaps i've to select someone option in configurator while i create personal hex files?

Hi SIMPAZZA
As you can see in the EEPROM tabsheet, you have a GreenCard (24C128) and not a SilverCard (24C64).

For this reason, you have to configure the SIM-EMU 6.01 files for that type of card, in your case you have to set 6.01g in the Configure tabsheet.

Write this new flash (SIM-EMU 6.01g) with IPCrog and write the EEPROM again, but now use the SIM-EMU Configurator program. NOW IT IS POSSIBLE to write the external EEPROM with the SIM-EMU Configurator instead of use ICProg.

With ICProg, you have written only the first 64Kbit, because you have selected the 24C64 device.
Using the SIM-EMU Configurator, always will be written the correct size.

I had two numbers, 1st nr. is revicer free fee and 2nd nr. is call free fee (need basic monthly fee ) , so i used Sim_Emu 6.01 and think it's very good.

But i used 1st number as standby and 2nd number as call, when i want to call somebody, i seleted 2nd number in Sim_Emu to call, when the call is over, i ofen forgot to change back 1st number.

So i wish Mr.Simemu to add a funtion to sim-emu6.01 ,when a dial out call is over and some time free (can setting), automatic reback to a default number(revicer number).

I think this funtion is very usefully. all my brothers can share my dial out free fee number.

I have been around for a while in this forum and could not get through to my problem:
I have a discarded sim card (not valid anymore, because I though I had lost and deactivated via telphone company - then later discovered in a hidden place at home).
I do not remember pin code and even less puk.
I woiuld like to access my previous phone book. There are most valuables numbers for my business.
Is there any way? which hardware do I need? which software? how is it possible to bypass (or crack) pin1 to access phone book?

To access the phonebook is necessary to authenticate the PIN1 and without it, it is impossible to read the phonebook.

There is no crack to access this info.

Contact with your operator to request the PUK code of that card explain them your problem.

I have two little questions, if u don't mind:

1. Gotta 3 SIM's as follows: provider AAA -> sim A0, provider BBB -> B1, B2. The B2 doesn't have GPRS subscription, while A0 and B1 do. So when I choose B2 there's a message "no GPRS available", and it STAYS STILL even if I switch to A0, not to mention B1 (so even after registering in OTHER network, it doesn't check for GPRS availability). I have to switch my phone off and back on to get GPRS working.
Where is the problem - in my phone (Ericsson R520m) or just a minor bug in sim_emu itself?

2. The 6.00 version of sim_emu seemed to have the effect of enabling service-menu (net monitor & battery info) in Ericsson phones. But 6.01 doesn't have it... :( Was it removed intentionally, and is there possibility to swith it back on?

1. That is a phone bug that does not to register the GPRS after a phone change. I have a SonyEricsson P800 and it works the same as yours.

2. I don't know what is that service. The 6.01 version only solved a small bug present in 6.00 and nothing more. How can you do to activate that service ?

with this one at the <4.Settings> menu just at the bottom (after <Voice memo> & <Accessories>) the following items appear:

they also exist in R520m Service-firmware, but they seem to be activated by that sim_emu too :)

One more thing.
Usually original SIM card has some provider name visible in Description field of Sim-Emu Configurator.
It is one name only on phone display. And it can be little bit different from provider name visible in available networks list (visible on phone display when simemu card inserted).

That options requires too many memory of flash to use rarely.
For that reason, I have included these options in the configurator.
About "Disable menu", once disabled, it cannot be enabled from the phone.

I don't know what do you want to say in your second post. Is there any problem with the Description and SPN ?

Using SIM-EMU, the "SIM App" is another way to Configure it, or to test a custom translation for example.
The Configurator 1.0 uses the SIM-EMU application tool kit to make the configuration in a similar way the phone does it.

Using original cards, is one way to navigate for all the menus without to pay any possible call or SMS.

There is no way to read the SIM Application of the original cards.

The SIM-EMU Configurator v2.1 only read EEPROM from SIM-EMU cards (Silver/GreenCard with SIM-EMU soft) .
You can also use the configurator to read/write ADN/SMS/FDN and read IMSI and other data from any other GSM SimCard.

You cannot override IMSI/KI data of original Simcards.

I have your last SIM_EMU_6.01_CFG_v2.1.msi, but with some problems. Because in Nokia and Samsung X100 when i am selecting phone number from Sel.phone# then it is switching very well but in other sets is not switching to other number then i am going on other number after switch off/on, enter pin for other number and then number does work.
You are requested to please give me your nice opinion on this problem that how i can solve this problem i.e. how i can switched an other number through Sel.phone# instead of switch off/on.
An early attention is requested.

That is a problem of some mobile models. The "Sel Phone#" does not work because they don't implement the Refresh command the way as GSM rules dictate.
The only way to change is, as you say, resetting and entering a PIN of another position.

I have downloaded Sim-emu 6.01 v2.1.
I am using 'Infinity Usb Phoenix' with Silver Card.
I have already extracted the Ki with simscan.

But Im having some difficulty when using SimEmu software:
1. When I used my silver card in 'Infinity Usb Phoenix', SimEmu cannot detect my card "No Card Inserted"
2. I have inserted my ki & imsi in 'Configure' and 'write to card' but could not write "Inserted a GSM or SIM-EMU card"
3. When I try to 'write to disk' the msg popup "Load the Sim Emu flash & Eeprom file first"
4. Where should I load the flash & Eeprom?

Please help me. Im really confused. I have gone through all your forum. I have also read your 'help' but without success.

If the Infinity USB Phoenix cannot be configured using a COMx port, the SIM-EMU Configurator cannot be used with this type of Phoenix (The Phoenix PlugIn requires a valid COMx port to communicate with the Phoenix). Read the Infinity USB Phoenix manual.

In this case, I recommend you to use the "First time configuration over an empty GreenCard2 / GreenCard /SilverCard" described in the "Help" tabsheet of SIM-EMU Configurator, but you will need to write EEPROM with the programmer software included with your Phoenix.

But I'm still without pin for sim_emu card. I programming FL and EP files with card writer 2.0. Should i program with IC Prog or else. I use mastera IV on 6 mhz. I fill the silver card without IMSI and KI's for my cards. I put on the card only files you tell me. Sholud I first put my IMSI and KI's and then program card. Your Sim_emu configurator 6.01 detect my sim_emu card as card 6.01, but i can't write on it because ask mee for pin1. How can i change im or enter the right pin. Your files comes with programed pin. ...For the same reason why you can't put windows xp on your 16K standart simcard. Simemu is a program (software/firmware) that requires a media (silver- or greencard) to be stored on. It is written for a CPU that is included ONLY on the www.microchip.com chipcards which you usually buy EMPTY.... http://www.hmk.nl/IMAGES/Images/card/Silvercard_4.jpg a view of how such a card looks like BEFORE we cut it into the small SIM-card format.

Use google or e-bay. Search for a "phoenix smartcard reader" and a "PIC programmer" capable to program silver/green cards. The online SAT SHOPS have a lot of different programers (cheap and expensive).

Please don't ask for dealers or prices. The purpose of this SIM-cloning area is not advertisment. Also, please start a new thread if you need further info. Try to make use of the search function of this board, too. And... last but not least... do not buy ready sim-emu programmed cards from ucables. Respect SIM-EMU developer Daniel.

The default PUK2 is 12345678, but if you had changed it, you can read the flash again with ICProg if the CPD was not set.
But, if the CPD was set, you must to reprogram the SIM-EMU again.

The last Vodafone Sim's are 128-2 and nobody (I think...) can't extract KI and IMSI from those Sim's!

The Smouse is connected on the serial port (com1), the serial port on my pc works fine (i tried it with a serial printer), it has been set to 9600 bps, no parity and no flow control.
Could be the cable? I'm using a normal cable (NOT null modem cable).

1st) start a new threat, your questions are OFF TOPIC in the "New version 2.1......" thread
2nd) Please read some older posts before you start asking. You should at least understand the difference between a comp128V1 and a comp128V2.... it has nothing to do with the memory on the simcard as you believe
3rd) Italian wind cards can NOT be cloned, they are all comp128V2s. Accept it or switch to TIM Italy that are still clonable according to other forum members
4th) Read this thread http://forum.gsmhosting.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=213686 to find your Network provider and see if others managed to make a clone of it
5th) Use the search function, search for comp128v1, ki, clone, beginner, woron scan, and other similar words in the "SIM-CLONING" section. You can even include the word "WIND" to find others who have asked similar questions to yours.
6th) Don't complain if you destroy your original-simcard, this is a risk you have to accept if you want to clone a card (and the risk to destroy the card is bigger when you "play" with your card without reading through older threads.)
7th) Cloning sims is an old technique (since 2003), nothing has changed except the version of the programs we use to extract the Ki. Don't worry reading older threads, they are still as valid as a new ones. The only difference is, that now 2004/2005/2006 there are mostly new version sim-cards (comp128V2) on the market which can NOT be cloned any more. Mind using old software like cardinal 0.68 as this program is not as efficient and safe as Xsim or WORON_SCAN.

@everyone: Please start new threads if there are questions not already answered or problems with your euipment. Don't post OFF-TOPIC into sticky threads.

1st: No one sim reader/writer can read the IMSI and KI of a SIM.
This object is only for read/write the agenda of the Sim!
2nd: No! Impossible! You need a special Sim, 1 programmer and soft to do that!

I have tow equations :
1st one is: ...... I have SIM read /write device ... my problem is I have no SIM that I can write in it like silver , SIM max ,wafer SIM cards .... but I have used sim .... how I can convert these SIMs to wafer or max SIM or any other kind which can be programmed with new ki and imsi.
The 2nd one is :
After used the scan to find ki buy using sim scan v2.01 by Dejan Kaljevic program the result after 2 hours the result was the fallowing Error massage :"Finding more than 4 bytes of ki by "brute Force " is USELESS! !" what that massage means

It's impossible!!!!
You can't change IMSI or KI in your normal sim card!
You only can read IMSI and KI!

P.S.-The message "Finding more than 4 bytes of ki by "brute Force " is USELESS" means that your sim card is (maybe) 128-2. For the moment no solution for those sim-cards!

according to my search
only the cards can be cloned which have the alog "comp 128-1".
why it is possible? dejane kalijavic decrypted the alog of this type of cards only and then many programmers copied the method of dejane kalijavic.
if some one other can do or develop, he must give the slution, he must develop the cloning application/program for the different type of cards.

Nobody can calculate your PUK. You must go ask to your network provider !!!
