hi i saw this and i think this wrks:
Part One:

1. Download and install Card Export. NOTE: The Card Export shareware install file is attached to this post.

2. Make sure you can see the Treo's SD card as a logical drive on the machine the Treo is connected to.

3. Dowload the flash, patched.zip, here. http://www.techwarelabs.com/downloads/?action=file&id=142

Part Two:

1. Unzip all the files and copy them to the /PALM/LAUNCHER folder on your SD card.

2. Hard reset the Treo.

3. Navigate to the card using the standard application launcher and run FirmwareUpdater.prc.

4. Click OK, click the Update Now button (I may have forgotten one or two OK clicks here so don't hesitate to correct me here).

5. Sit back and relax, it's going to take a good 10 minutes.

6. The phone will automatically hard reset at the end of the process.

That's all, really. Note that I think it does do the entire 2.09 firmware upgrade, so all this should even work when you're on an older firmware version. I recommend you do the regular upgrade first though.

i just got an sd card, and an sd reader/writer
formatted the card first with my treo
then moved the files
worked like a charm
you only need a 16 meg sd card anyways, so it's not that expensive

what? are you sure active synch works for palm? i always used it for my SPV smartphone. is there a version for Palm?

Okay please explain to me in full detail step by step how this is done without a SD card because i am totally lost when it comes to stuff like this.
Also my friend has a Treo 600 and he used card export to unlock it (using an SD card) and he tested the phone by using a sim card of a different network and was working fine so he know's that he 100% for sure unlocked it, Now he did i hard reset (holding down the "k" and "left arrow" keys and press the reset button) and he wants to know if the phone is still unlocked? He has no way of checking with a sim card, so is there any other way to know or would you guys just know off the top of your heads if it is still unlocked?

I updated the tre0 600 with the latest firmware 3.05 and then i tried doing the unlock trick. It updated fine but when the treo 600 is about to start it just turns off after a few secs. I cant get to the main screen (launcher).

I managed to get an Unlocked Treo 600 off EBAY. The I went to T-Mobile web site and updated to new 3.05 firmware. Well guess what? The Update managed to lock my phone again . Great!

I followed the instructions on this post and managed to get it to unlock. It set me back to firmware 2.XXX something. Oh well, I guess the bugs on the TREO600 wont get fixed , unless there is an unlocking kit that will update the firmware to the latest 3.05 and unlock it as well.

I was sucessful in unlocking my treo (had to go back to 3.05 from 3.06). No lost functionality as far as I can tell so far.

To unlock you just need the usb cable that comes with it.
For me I copied the patcher to the treo600 via sync then i ran

I had the same problem also when switching to wilreless mode.
I had to transfer the patcher into the treo600 via sync then runit
within the treo600 and problem was solved.

botton then release rest and phone will ask if you really sure push yes and voila
Ps the file named patched.zip is old firmware and have some bugs though phone works the best unlocking and decustomizing file is unlockme305.zip + row updater 1.12 if anybody needs these files just give me some free space for upload the file is about 8Mgbytes

After trying to perform firmware update, imei on my treo went blank. No imei is displayed, so the treo won't go into wireless mode, this mode is always off.

I entered write hser your imei -to repair imei. But when i checked phone info, i got the following:

Nº: Blank

Nº Imei: Blank

HS SN : It shows the imei number in this field. How do i get the imei number on the imei field?, perhaps there is another command to repair imei?

Nº SA: Blank

Firmware: Blank

Software: Treo600-1.12-ROW (but treo won't allow me to upgrade to this 1.12, it says device not compatible...)

By the way danilop. To rebuild the imei the token writer command is:

Write imei xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx (15 digit imei number)

The other command you said is to rebuild serial number.

Anyways when wireless mode is not active, that info is always blank.

MAn Why u need card export ?? Just plug in card reader It will auto matically detect the MMC card ! Check your drives ! it will make new drive ! loke c: d: e: f: just copy paste the file in MMC card ! and insert that MMC card in Phone ! and run the software !

i have done the same processs.
after the process the version of my phone has become 2.09, but older version was 3.05 orange.
now when ever i switch it on with an sim card its not giving me turn on wireless mood.
getting confused whyat to do. pls help me. even when i check imie it says operation failed.
when i connect my treo with cable and run card export, it shows data sent and recieved and gives me message that do not disconnect till it marks dirty.
help me pls.

for all who wonts to unlock treo 600 ,u must now that after unlock u will have camera problem i did unlock 4 p.c.s & have same problem .phone works perfect but cam problem & looks like no body wonts to hellp solvi this problem.

i think your patch is very old you need the latest one 3.05 if doesn't work you need the orig firmware and patch it again with the patch file v3.05
