Palm Tungsten W locked

Hi to all,

I bought last week a new Palm Tungsten W. I am in Dominican Republic and AT&T service is not available. My GSM service provider said the phone is blocked.

Any person can help on this? Do I need to send my palm to anybody to unblock it? Can I do this by myself remotely?

There is no remote solution at the moment but it can be unlocked.

This kind of solution is cloning the SIM card. Orange is the GSM provider in my country and the SIM can not be cloned because it is illegal.

You can see the note this guy include in the message you refer, regard NOT to turn on more than one celular device with the same SIM, because you are under the eye of the GSM provider as a SIM-Cloner....

I can not resist the idea that can not be remotely unlocked !!!!

I've got the same problem my palm is blocked to ATT and I can't work with it in Brazil. Searching for information I found that it can be unlocked by code. I am not sure about that but!!! If someone knows something about, please help us all!!!

Hi, in a talk with Palm customer service they mentioned that the lock is done by a code which they don´t know (???). In a chat with the store I bought my TW they said that they could do this but only in the store, not by internet!
I am still searching for this!!! Any news please let me know!!!
